Technical characteristics
The device consists of a heating element (power 1500W), an electronic thermostat that provides water temperature regulation in the tank, and a power cord with a universal plug. The LED indicator indicates the heater operation. The device is equipped with a single-action (non-resettable) thermal protection located in the heating element plug, which will activate after the temperature exceeds 90°C via a thermal fuse. To restore the full efficiency of the device, the intervention of a qualified manufacturer's service is necessary.
Application
- D.H.W. tanks
- C.H. buffer tanks,
- As an additional heating element for radiators and other heating devices
Location and installation
- The heating module can be installed in both horizontal and vertical tanks, whose construction allows for the installation of the heating module, and in rooms where the temperature is not lower than 0ºC and not higher than 50ºC;
Basic information regarding use and warnings
- The heater should be sealed with oakum (recommended) or other available sealing agents at the installation site;
- In the case of horizontal installation, the correct position of the heater is when the connection cable exits the housing downwards;
- After installing the heater, the tank should be filled with water and the installation should be vented. To avoid corrosion of the heater plug, the sleeve should be vented (slightly loosen the heater so that air escapes from the sleeve in which the heater is installed, and then tighten the heater);
- To extend the life of the heater, it is recommended to install a magnesium anode.
- Do not switch on without water - the condition for correct and long-term operation of the heater is full immersion of the heating element in water (check if the tank in which the heater is installed is completely filled with water and the entire heating element is immersed in it);
- It is advisable to periodically control the operation of the device and check the correct operation of the heater and the plug with a protective pin;
- In case of not using the electric heater for a long period of time, the power supply should be disconnected by removing the plug from the power socket.
Detailed information regarding installation and use can be found in the user manual.
